What is NSEP?
The National Standard Examination in Physics is the first selection stage for India’s Physics Olympiad programme. IAPT organises this stage. HBCSE, TIFR, coordinates the subsequent Physics stages.
The paper tests conceptual understanding and the ability to use familiar ideas in unfamiliar situations. Learning equations is useful; understanding when and why they apply is essential.
